CHARITY and SERVICE

Among all virtues, charity is the most important. Without charity, we would never get ourselves to practice the other virtues. Charity, or love, as it is more commonly known, is the main reason for friendship, generosity and the co-virtue of the month, service. Charity lives in the heart of every man. Sometimes people practice this virtue without really knowing it because living this virtue is as natural as eating and sleeping. Charity does not always have to mean outward affection, like hugging and kissing; charity can be as simple as picking up a candy wrapper, so as to lessen the job of the janitor. Charity is like the voice inside us that tells us to help others and do service.
