"MEDICAL MISSION 2008"
As we have been doing for the past 8 years, PAREF Southridge School is once more organizing a Medical Mission for the benefit of our janitors, security guards, maintenance men and other auxiliary staff and their families, as well as 200 children from Cupang Elementary Annex, Sitio Santo Nino. We will hold this activity on July 25, 2008 (Friday) at the Southridge Cafeteria Basement from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 in the afternoon. Through this activity, we hope to be able to provide our staff and their families free medical attention from our volunteer doctors, and free medicines for common illnesses. This activity is sponsored by the S.R. A.C.T.S., a consortium of some campus clubs and organizations: Student Councils (High School and Grade School), Ridge and Junior Ridge, AKAP, Catalyst and S.O.U.L.
For this reason, the S.R. A.C.T.S. is soliciting help from generous donors to make this project possible. Donations in cash or in kind (medicines for common illnesses, vitamins, supplements) are being accepted that will benefit the more than 300 expected patients. Cash donations will be used to provide lunch food for the beneficiaries.
We are sure that your generosity will be greatly appreciated not just by all these poor families, but also by the 1,200 families that make up the Southridge community.
