8/23/2007 - SOUTHRIDGE ALUMNUS IS TEN OUTSTANDING STUDENTS OF THE PHILIPPINES' AWARDEE
DENNIS UMALI, Southridge Alumnus and Magna Cum Laude Graduate of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) College of Veterinary Medicine, was awarded one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP). The award was presented by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo last July 5 at the Rizal Hall of the Malacañang Palace. Umali also ranked first in the country's Veterinary Medicine Board Exams. Truly an inspiring Southridge student!
2/28/2007 - MOST OUTSTANDING STUDENTS OF MUNTINLUPA 2007
Southridge congratulates LYLE BELEN of Fourth Year for winning in the Search for the Ten Most Outstanding Students of Muntinlupa 2007. For the 14th consecutive year, Southridge remains to be among the best in the City!
2/23/2007 - SOUTHRIDGE STUDENTS WIN VARIOUS INTERNATIONAL MATH CONTESTS!
Three Southridge students bring home their earnings from foreign soil. CARLO FRANCISCO ADAJAR, a Junior High School Student, won gold at the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) in Singapore last August 16-21.
JAD CORDON, a grade 5 student, and JR ALDIOSA, grade 7, both ranked third place in their respective Individual Categories at the 2007 China Primary Math Olympiad (CPMO) held in Schijiazhung, China last August 10-14. Aldiosa was also part of the BEST TEAM in the Team Category of the Olympiad.
2/20/2008 -INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL STUDENTS SHINE IN READFEST 2007
All the contestants from Southridge came home as winners from the Readfest 2007 held last February 15, 2008 at the La Salle Zobel School. The competition, organized by the Library Association of Schools in Muntinlupa, Paranaque and Las Pinas, was participated in by students from La Salle Zobel, San Beda College, Woodrose and Southridge. There were three categories in the competitions:
Story-Telling - where two Southridge Intermediate School students grabbed two of the three awards: Martin Luis T. Malabanan (Grade 7), Second Place; and Luis Anton D. Nieto (Grade 5), Third Place
Read Aloud - where Matthew James S. Mendiola placed Second Place
Story Writing Category - Jowan Sebastian A. Cuesta (Grade 4): Second Place

2/20/2008 -SOUTHRIDGE STUDENT IS ONE OF MUNTINLUPA'S BEST IN 2008
For the 15th straight year, a Southridge student is being given recognition by the Muntinlupa City Government as one of the "Ten Most Outstanding Students of Muntinlupa". This year, graduating student RAYMUND ANDREW "MUNDI" T. FIGUEROA joins the winners' circle from Southridge, after surviving a series of tests which included an IQ Test, a panel interview and a talent presentation. He competed with students from all the private and public schools in the City. Mundi belongs to the Top 5 of this year's graduating Batch, which is also responsible for setting a new record of 68% passing rate to Ateneo, and a high 80% passing rate to La Salle. Mundi is well-known among the students in campus having played the major roles in the Christmas Plays of the last two years: "Rumpy" and "Flicker". This recognition comes with a full college scholarship and various prizes given by sponsoring companies. With this recognition, Southridge continues to cement its reputation as one of the best schools in the City.
2/20/2008 -SOUTHRIDGE AFTERNOON SCHOOL GRADUATES CONTINUE TO MAKE WAVES

Many know about the exceptional accomplishments of the students of PAREF Southridge School. What most don't realize is that there is an equally impressive roster of achievements stemming from a usually overlooked Southridge body, the Afternoon School. In fact, from the Afternoon School we have alumni getting recognition as top students of Muntinlupa, top examinees of the licensure examination for teachers and even top students in the whole Philippines. They have clearly shown greatness in different fields, excelling in such diverse fields as science, teaching, medicine, literature and even medical allied courses.
2/8/2008 -SOUTHRIDGE SWIMMERS MAKING WAVES
Josef Dos Remedios, a grade 7 student, won 3 silver medals at the Citigroup-Taipei Invitational Swim Meet last November held in Taipei City, Taiwan. Remedios placed second in three categories: the 400m freestyle, 400m individual medley and 800m freestyle.
Another swimmer gave pride to Southridge by winning bronze in the Philippine Olympic Festival NCR Meet last October 11-14, 2007. Nacho Mapa, a grade 6 student won, third in the local competition held at the Rizal Memorial Complex.
2/8/2008 -FORMER SOUTHRIDGE VARSITY PLAYERS MAKE IT TO US COLLEGE BASEBALL
Three former varsity players hit it big in California College Baseball. Carlos and Andres Borromeo are now playing for Potterville College. Also making a name for himself is Justin Zialcita, playing for Pasadena College.

11/13/2007 - SOUTHRIDGE BOYS CHOIR:
NOW AMONG THE WORLD'S BEST

The Southridge Boys' Choir (SBC)was one of the big winners in the 1st Asian Choir Games held in Jakarta , Indonesia last November 2 to 10, 2007.The choir was awarded Silver Diploma (Level V) in the Folklore Category, and Bronze Diploma (Level X) in the Mixed Youth Category.They were the only two categories in the Asian Open Division that SBC competed in.Their impressive performance won the hearts of the judges of this first-ever international choral competition held in Asia and brought glory to our country. It was organized by the Germany-based Musica Mundi / Interkultur Foundation, and was participated in by more than 100 choirs from 13 different countries.
