Southridge Filipino is ACADEMIC FILIPINO. The study of Filipino in PAREF – Southridge School is defined by the teaching and learning of Academic Filipino, with Intentional-Sequential Design for the acquisition of Academic Language in the Primary School, practice of Academic Communication in the Intermediate School, and generation of Academic Literature in High School.

Goals

• The Filipino Department aims for the Primary School students to acquire Academic Language.
• The Filipino Department aims for the Intermediate School students to practice Academic Communication.
• The Filipino Department aims for the High School students to generate Academic Literature.
