Music is a comprehensive form of art, to study it is to gain knowledge of the other basic subjects in the school curriculum. Music's purpose and context, aside from being a curricular component of basic education, are for musical literacy, transmission of culture and a progression of schoolwork that demands attention and effort from the students.
